The mission of the French Institute for Restorative Justice is to promote restorative justice in France and throughout the world and to support the professionals and contributors in developing programmes of restorative justice in the penal field.

The Institute proposes several programmes tailored to the expectations of the organizations interested in restorative justice:

  • The “Restorative justice Passeur” programme consists in a seminar organized by a “Passeur” who gives a presentation on the main measures of restorative justice and their applications;
  • The “IFJR accompanies you” programme proposes the intervention of a member of the IFJR (researcher and/or practitioner according to the needs) aiming at supporting the organizations wanting to design, implement or evaluate a restorative justice programme.

The institute intervenes also on the international scene with different kinds of interventions.

Any request for intervention, even outside of these programmes, should be made via the contact form.
